The 5 Steps of the SSP

The SSP consists of five key steps, guiding leads from first contact to conversion. It is designed to ensure a smooth transition between steps based on leads actions.
1. CONNECTING – Start the Conversation
1. CONNECTING – Start the Conversation
This is the first step where you begin conversations
You're not selling yet—just making natural connections.
Use personalized scripts for warm leads (people you know) or standard scripts for social media prospects.
💡 Tip: Find common ground and keep it casual!
2. INVITING – Spark Curiosity & Qualify
2. INVITING – Spark Curiosity & Qualify
Now it starts to get to know the other person and build a genuine relationship. And if you know more about their problem, it leads to the opportunity to ask if they would like to learn more about the product or business.
Assess if they’re the right fit:✅ Yes? Move them forward.⏳ Not ready? Schedule a follow-up.
3. INFORMING – Share the Value
3. INFORMING – Share the Value
4. SERVING – Address Questions & Concerns
4. SERVING – Address Questions & Concerns
The key now is consistent follow-up. Leverage the scripts and set task reminders to ensure you don't forget about any contacts.✅ Build trust, show value, and let the tools do the heavy lifting.
Answer your lead’s questions and handle objections.
Use pre-written scripts to save time and stay sharp.
💡 Tip: Keep it personal so they feel understood and supported.
5. LAUNCHING – Convert Leads
5. LAUNCHING – Convert Leads
Seal the deal—turn leads into customers or business partners.
Ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Maintain consistent follow-ups to keep them engaged and satisfied.

Step 3: Informing to Serving
When the lead clicks on a trackable link and stays on it for more than 30 seconds.

When you manually update the lead’s membership.
Pipeline View
The Pipeline View is a powerful tool designed to help you efficiently track, manage, and move leads through the Structured Sales Process (SSP). Whether you prefer automated transitions or manual control over lead movement, this view gives you a clear, organized way to follow your progress and ensure no lead is left behind.

How It Works
Each of the five SSP steps is displayed as a separate column. Leads are automatically categorized under the correct step based on their progression. You can drag and drop leads between columns to manually move them to the next step.

1. Access the Pipeline View
Navigate to the Contacts section in the SAGA desktop version.
Click on the purple button under 'View' to switch between Table View and Pipeline View.

2. Drag & Drop
Find the leads you want to move.
Click and Drag them to the next step in the process.
Drop them into the appropriate column to update their status.

3. Change the Steps Manually
In the Table View, you can also change an individual lead's current step by clicking on the 'Step' button on the lead card.
💡 Why Use Pipeline View?
✅ See where each lead stands in the process.✅ Easily move leads between steps.✅ Monitor progress in real-time.
⚠️ Key Success Principles
Remember: The SSP is designed to be SIMPLE, CLEAR, and SCALABLE. Trust the process and be consistent in your application.
Focus on Value: At every step, prioritize providing value to your prospects over making a sale.
Be Patient: Let prospects progress at their own pace while staying engaged and available.
SSP vs Custom Pipelines
It’s important to understand the difference:
Structured Sales Process (SSP):
Has fixed steps
Is designed for long-term sales
Follows predefined rules and structure
Custom Pipelines:
Are fully flexible
You decide the number of steps and their meaning
Are ideal for events, promotions, or short-term goals
Custom pipelines do not replace the SSP.They work alongside it.
⚠️ Automation and rules defined for the SSP do not apply to custom pipelines.
